May 25, 2021 No Comments on YOUTH EMPLOYMENTRecipients of the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) gathered for an orientation and contract signing activity, prior to their deployment today, May 25.
The attendees which numbered to 83 represent the second batch for the said program of the local government under Mayor Alfred Romualdez and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Each student will have a daily salary rate of Php 525.04 or around Php 10,500 for the 20-day period.
Sixty percent salary counterpart of the city is P315.24 daily while 40 percent will come from DOLE.
In total, the city government has hired a total of 238 students, of which 89 were initially deployed last April 21, thru the summer job program this year.
The city’s Public Employment Service Office and DOLE thru its focal Marites Dy spearheaded the conduct of the orientation held at the DMMPC board room in City Hall.
