October 21, 2019 No Comments on TOMECO Schedules Road Safety SeminarTACLOBAN CITY (CIO) — The Traffic Operations Management Enforcement and Control Office (TOMECO) has scheduled a Road Safety Seminar for Operators and Drivers of Motor Cabs for Hire (MCH) and Public Utility Jeepneys (PUJs) at the Tacloban City Convention Center on October 23, 24, 25, 28 and 29, 2019.
The traffic office said that the Morning Sessions will be scheduled for MCH Drivers and Operators, while the afternoon sessions will have PUJ Drivers and Operators. The registration for the morning session will be from 6:30 to 8:00 am, while the afternoon session is from 11:30 am to 12 nn.
Representatives from the City Environment and Natural Resources Office, City Health Office and Business Permit and Licenses Office will respectively conduct talks on the Clean Air Act, Anti-Smoking and Littering Ordinances and the Licensing process during the activity. A topic on Traffic Rules will also highlight the seminar.
The Seminar is free and will form part of the requirement for the renewal of permits for MCH and PUJs plying routes in Tacloban City said the TOMECO.
