TACRU calls for Taclobanon CPR and First Aid trainees
June 14, 2021 No Comments on TACRU calls for Taclobanon CPR and First Aid traineesTacloban City Rescue Unit (TACRU) provides trainings on CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid. With remote-friendly training solutions and easy access to on-demand learning, such trainings provide options of virtual and face-to face approach with limited number of participants and strict observance of CoViD-19 health standards.
According to TACRU Head Ms. Lot Raagas, the need for training in CPR and First Aid is one of their concerns because it is important to be of help during the moments that matter while waiting for the arrival of help.
On the first week of the month, TACRU joined the world in celebrating the CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Awareness Week. Due to the spike of CoViD-19 cases in the region, the office opted not to have a big celebration. Instead, they reiterated the importance of public awareness and skills development in CPR and AED by inviting Taclobanons to avail of their free CPR and First Aid Trainings.
With the office’s commitment to save lives, they believe that every second counts, and that, as more people stay or work from home due to Covid-19 pandemic, these trainings will be of big help.
For those interested in said trainings, please contact TACRU thru their FB Page and look for their Training Chief, Mr. Gab Go, for more details.\
