November 6, 2019 No Comments on Tacloban City Cops 2019 SGLGThe Highly Urbanized City of Tacloban was among 380 Local Government Units (LGUs) around the country recognized as 2019 Seal of Good Local Governance Awardee (SGLG) in a ceremony attended by Interior and Local Government Secretary Eduardo Año at the Manila Hotel.
This latest distinction recognizes Tacloban City’s excellent performance in Financial Administration, Social Protection, Disaster Resiliency, Peace and Order, Environmental Management, Business Competitiveness, and Tourism.
LGUs will soon be assessed on the Additional areas of Health Compliance and Responsiveness, Sustainable Education, Youth Development per RA 1192 or the SGLG Law.
Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez was represented during the event by City DILG Director Atty. Darwin Bibar and Executive Assistant Atty. Ivy Carba.
