July 8, 2021 No Comments on SOMETHING TO CALL THEIR OWNNearly eight years since the wrath of Super Typhoon Yolanda, families who were relocated in North Hill Arbours 1&2 finally received their land titles, as Mayor Alfred Romualdez recently witnessed and led the distribution at St. Francis Gymnasium in Brgy. 105 San Isidro (Suhi), a northern barangay.
The distribution of land titles under the Yolanda Housing Program will run until tomorrow, July 9, and will benefit around 1,036 residents in the said housing sites. This is in line with Mayor’s commitment to give villagers the chance to own the “home” they have been occupying for a long time.
Present during the releasing activity were officials from the City Government and National Housing Authority and Councilor Aimee Grafil, committee chair on Urban Poor, Housing, and Human Settlement.
