Held in cooperation with the local government of Tacloban through Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez the rehabilitation activity was held from November 11 to 15.
During the program’s culmination activity on Friday, Mayor Romualdez was represented by Councilor Brian Granados.
Nelita M. Palconite, Chief Probation and Parole Officer said that TCLP is one of the rehabilitation programs of the Parole and Probation Office that prepares probationers and parolees on their integration into the community.
As a self-help social learning treatment model the program uses as its primary therapeutic vehicle the concept of family or community, staff and clients to help TCLP clients move from “wrong living” to “right living,” she said.
The TCLP is categorized into four phases, namely Phase 1 as the preparatory or orientation stage, Phase 2 as the primary treatment stage, Phase 3 as the immersion stage and Phase 4 as the integration stage in which each stage comprises different topics focusing on the different human dimensions.
