NHA TURNS OVER HOUSING PROJECTS TO LGU TACLOBAN
March 10, 2020 No Comments on NHA TURNS OVER HOUSING PROJECTS TO LGU TACLOBANA total of 3,136 resettlement units from the six Yolanda permanent housing projects in the City were turned over by the National Housing Authority (NHA) to the local government of Tacloban on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.
The event was highlighted by the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), Deed of Donation and Acceptance (DODA), and Deed of Transfer and Acceptance (DOTA) of the Yolanda housing projects between Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez and NHA General Manager (GM) Marcelino P. Escalada Jr.
The housing projects, located in six housing sites in the northern part of the city, costs Php 290,000 per house and lot package.
The permanent housing projects that were turned over to the local government were Kawayan Ville 2 and 3, Guadalupe, as well as the New Hope Village, Villa Sofia and Villa Diana.
Apart from the ceremonial turnover, GM Escalada also handed a check in the amount of Php 20 million to Mayor Romualdez as initial aid to be used for the completion and rectification of defects in the Yolanda permanent housing projects in the City.
Present also during the turnover ceremony was NHA Regional Manager Gavino Figuracion, together with NHA Assistant GM Victor Balba and other concerned department heads.
