September 9, 2021 No Comments on NEWLY BUILT TCPO HUBTacloban City Police Office has its new multi-purpose building for the use and well-being of its personnel, with Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez gracing the inauguration and turnover ceremony on Thursday, September 9.
In his speech, the local chief executive highlighted how the city’s support in infrastructure and equipment is vital for the PNP personnel to provide better services and efficiently protect the Tacloban populace.
“The work of the police is a thankless job… and the key to be successful is to be consistent with what we’re doing,” he said, noting that the local government has been continuously extending support to allow the organization to effectively perform its mandate.
During the activity, Mayor Alfred’s son, Raymund Romualdez, Hiraya Foundation Inc. President also led the cutting of the ribbon and unveiling of the building marker, assisted by PCOL Darwin Miranda, TCPO City Director; PLTCOL Reycel Carmelo Dayon, OIC-RLRDD; Hon. Albert Eviota, a representative from Tingog Partylist; and Engr. Mark Vincent Anthony Guy along with Juvy Lopez who were in attendance on behalf of EZ Jones Construction Inc.—the donor of the said multi-purpose hall. Meantime, Reverend Father Raymund Ciprian Mazo officiated the blessing of the building.
