September 3, 2021 No Comments on Mobile Vax for Persons Deprived of LibertyThe mobile vaccination team is looking forward to an eventful day as they are scheduled to inoculate 3 areas, namely Tacloban City Jail, MASA Center, and Brgy. 106 Sto. Niño.
Inoculation for the male PDLs of Tacloban City Jail started this morning, September 3, 2021, with approximately 600 targeted for their first dose of Sinovac.
Frontliners arrived as early as 9:00 AM, although the vaccination process itself started around 10:00 AM due to cautious screening of the male PDLs as they are at high-risk for transmission.
Chief of Tacloban City Hospital, Dr. Joedina Gumagay said in an interview that it is important that all the PDLs be vaccinated since they are isolated in closed spaces, she went on to remind us to practice the minimum health protocols for the safety of our families.
