May 6, 2019 No Comments on LMWD’s New Security Features in their Statement of Account or Water bills.Water Concessionnaires of the Leyte Metropolitan Water District (LMWD) will see new “Security Features” in their Statement of Account or Water Bills; this after the water utility company introduced a new set of security features to its Official Statement of Account to safeguard its consumers.
The new Security Features include the Philippine Seal, Encrypted Account and Meter Numbers and New Barcode. Consumers are advised to only accept water bills with these security features. Along with the announcement the water company also bared the names of its 15 Official Meter Readers.
