September 27, 2019 No Comments on ICT SCALA announces enrollment for the next batch of trainingTACLOBAN CITY(CIO) — ICT SCALA – the basic computer training program of the City Government under Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez has announced the start of enrollment for its next batch of training.
The ICT-SCALA or the Information Communications Technology Sharing of Computer Access Locally and Abroad Training targets Out of School Youth (OSYs), Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), working parents in need of basic computer training. It was started in 2003 by the Engineer’s Without Borders (EWB) a Canada-based Non-Government Organization in partnership with the local government.
Basic computer programs like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint, among others, are taught the trainees.
The Training is divided into two shifts: morning and afternoon and lasts for 3 to 4 months followed by an On-the-Job Training of two months in an office the City Government. Upon graduation, they are given Certificates of Completion.
Those interested to avail of the training need only to submit the following Requirements 1 piece 2×2 ID picture, photocopies of Voters Affidavit/ID and Live Birth Certificate (for 20 years old and below), and Barangay Clearance.
