FREE WIFI BRINGING CLOSER TO THE BARANGAY
In time with the opening of classes as this blended modality continues, residents, especially youth in Brgy. 55 El Reposo can freely connect to the internet as Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez personally turnover a wifi modem unit on Tuesday (August 31)
The initiative program dubbed “Barangay Wifi—Free Internet Access”, is looking forward to providing more free wifi connections to the community—installed at the barangay hall—thru the efforts of the city’s Management Information Systems Division (MISD) and Youth and Development Office.
Aside from El Reposo, other pioneering barangays to avail of the program include Brgy. 37 Seawall, 36 Sabang, 61 Old Sagkahan, 39 Serin, and Brgy 43-A, of which a separate turnover ceremony will be scheduled anytime soon.
Joining Mayor Romualdez during the turnover were his son, Raymund Romualdez, Hiraya Foundation Inc. president and barangay chairman Richard David Estrada.
