FOLKS IN DANGER ZONES WILL SOON MOVE TO SAFER GROUNDS
July 29, 2021 No Comments on FOLKS IN DANGER ZONES WILL SOON MOVE TO SAFER GROUNDSAs part of Mayor Alfred Romualdez’s commitment to ensure the provision of decent and adequate homes to affected families of Super Typhoon Yolanda, more inhabitants in the danger zones will later be having their houses in St Francis Village 2, after they gathered for an orientation on occupancy rules and regulations on Thursday morning, July 29.
One hundred sixty-seven (167) completed houses in the said relocation site are set to be raffled off to the identified beneficiaries tomorrow, July 30, at the St. Francis Gymnasium, as announced by the City Housing and Community Development Office.
CHCDO, the National Housing Authority, and other partner agencies reminded beneficiaries who are yet to receive their housing units to follow the specific guidelines–since the housing authority can reclaim their benefits if proven that they violated the rules.
