Twenty-six evaluators coming from the City Veterinary Office, City Environment and Natural Resources Office, Barangay Affairs Office, City Health Office, Tacloban City Hospital and City Information Office attended the final briefing on the Search for Astray and Rabies Free Barangay 2019 held at the Function Room of the Divine Mercy Multi-Purpose Cooperative Bldg on Wednesday.

Five teams composed of 4 to 6 evaluators and headed by a team leader will conduct the on-site evaluation from March 18 to March 22, 2019. The evaluation will be done in the following participating barangays: Brgy. 39 – Siren District, Brgy. 17 – Gomez St., Brgy. 83-A – Burayan, San Jose, Brgy. 81 – Marasbaras, Brgy. 44 – Quarry District, Brgy. 43-A – Quarry District, Brgy. 92 – Apitong, Brgy. 71 – Naga-Naga, Brgy. 109 – V&G, and Brgy. 36-A – Imelda Village.

The said barangays will be rated based on the 8 criteria given by the City Veterinary Office. Cash prizes worth Php 10,000 will be given to the winning barangays, while non-winners will receive certificates. The awarding will be held on March 29, 2019.
