Farmers, Fishermen receive financial aid from PRRD
March 12, 2020 No Comments on Farmers, Fishermen receive financial aid from PRRDThe City Government of Tacloban under Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez continues to release the Php 3.8 million financial assistance from President Rodrigo Roa Duterte today, March 12 to some remaining 300 fishermen and farmers in the City, who were heavily affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Ursula last December 24, 2019.
Each fisherfolk and farmers have received Php 4,000 and 5,000 cash aid, at the City Engineer’s Office (CEO) Gym, to be utilized for their farm areas, and repair of their fishing boats. Acting City Social Welfare and Development Office Head Fe Chona Bahin headed the releasing of cash support along with City Councilor Leo Bahin and other City Hall employees.
