January 22, 2020 No Comments on Distribution of 1,500 pieces of galvanized iron roofing sheetsLOOK: The City Government of Tacloban under the leadership of Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez distributed 1,500 pieces of galvanized iron roofing sheets on Wednesday, January 22 to the 200 households heavily affected by Typhoon Ursula.
Mayor Romualdez personally led the distribution to the beneficiaries coming from 14 northern barangays at the covered court of St. Francis Village in Brgy Suhi.
Joining the local Chief Executive during the distribution was Acting City Social Welfare and Development Officer Fe Chona Bahin together with City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) Head Ildebrando Bernadas and the Mayor’s son Raymund Romualdez.
Meanwhile, the City Government is set to conduct another distribution of roofing sheets tomorrow, January 23 for Taclobanons residing in the City proper whose houses were also destroyed during typhoon Ursula.
