Acting CSWDO Head Fe Chona Bahin issued this call during the final orientation for the conduct of Listahanan or the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) held today, November 21 at Tacloban Youth Hub.
“They should be fair and just for this is a house-to-house survey. There should be no special treatment, all of their constituents should be interviewed,” she said.
According to Bahin, there will be three Area Coordinators, 10 Area Supervisors and 31 Enumerators who will be assigned to do the household data survey in the 138 barangays of the City.
The survey will start next week, Monday and will run for two months.
Meantime, Ligaya L. Bayno, Area Supervisor of DSWDO Regional Office 8 said that the survey will be done every Monday to Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
“For those who will not be accommodated, we will come back just to get the necessary information we need. There’s nothing to worry about because we will be doing the data collection fairly,” Bayno stressed.
“The list is not a poverty reduction program in itself, but also a database used to identify beneficiaries for such programs offered by the agency,” she clarified.
Among the programs are the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), the Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) and the Modified Conditional Cash Transfer (MCCT) programs as well as the Social Pension for the Senior Citizens.
