City Gov’t honors longest-serving employees, retirees
August 9, 2019 No Comments on City Gov’t honors longest-serving employees, retireesTACLOBAN CITY (CIO) – Forty-nine loyalty Service Awardees and 15 Retirees were honored by the City Government in a simple ceremony held Friday, August 9, 2019, at the Tacloban City Training Center.
Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez and Vice Mayor Jerry Yaokasin led the program that aims to give appreciation and recognition to the longest-serving and retired employees for their services to the city Government and Taclobanons.

The loyalty awardees were divided into six categories depending on the number of years that they served in the City Government.
Among the loyalty awardees who received certificates of Recognition and tokens for 40 years of service were Restituto Penalosa, Rogelio Caysido, Ric Cartel, Renelo Zeta, Roberto Gabriana, Yvonne Ligan, and Marilou Nacilla.

Meantime, the 15 retirees received 5,000 pesos cash and gift items from the City Government. The retired employees of the City Government are David Tatierra, Leah Palomino, Winefredo Cabugwang, Lourdes Espino, Domingo Agner, Imelda Labarda, Lilia Naputo, Cresencia Aguirre, Remedios Buna, Luz Penaranda, Isabel Pica, Donato Quijano, Roberto Palencia, Estrella Abulencia and Edgardo Real.
