City Government front liners train on basic customer service skills
October 22, 2019 No Comments on City Government front liners train on basic customer service skillsTACLOBAN CITY (CIO) About 60 front line personnel of the City Government of Tacloban under Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez underwent training during the two-day Basic Customer Service Skills seminar at the Tacloban City Training Center last October 15-16, 2019.
Spearheaded by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office 8 in coordination with the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO), the objective of the activity was to equip the participants with skills that will not only enable them to please their customers but also make them enjoy their work even better.
Moreover, it was also intended to let the front liners understand the importance of service excellence; discover their critical role in providing excellent service in each organization; practice professionalism as they provide service to the public.
According to the HRMDO, front liners need to know their responsibility to provide the first-rate service to the constituents that go to the different offices in City Hall.
CSC Senior HR Specialist Ryan Jose Estoque and Jay Merelos, Chief HR Specialist were the resource speakers during the two-day seminar.
Among the topics discussed was the ‘Basic Customer Service Excellence and Its Importance’ as well as ‘Creating a Service Excellence Environment Ourselves and the Customer Feedback’.
