‘CENTENARIAN GIFT’ VIA DOOR-TO-DOOR DELIVERY
August 19, 2021 No Comments on ‘CENTENARIAN GIFT’ VIA DOOR-TO-DOOR DELIVERYA team from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) handed over checks worth P50,000.00 to three centenarians today, August 19, 2021
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, as well as the health and physical limitations of the centenarians, the team adopted the house-to-house mode of delivering the cash gift.
Josefina P. Cullamat from Brgy. 97 Cabalawan, who is now 105 years old — and the oldest among the recipients — received the check as a felicitation gift from the City Government of Tacloban. Other centenarians include Zosima E. Donaire, 102, and Jose A. Acedillo, 100, who reside at Barangays 97 Ridgeview and 92 Apitong, respectively.
Meanwhile, all filipino centenarians shall be honored and granted additional benefits and privileges, as provided for by Republic Act. No. 10868, or the “Centenarian Act of 2016.”
