January 31, 2020 No Comments on 2020 Census of Population and HousingLOOK: In support of the upcoming 2020 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), a nationwide undertaking of the Philippine Statistics Authority, the 138 barangay chairpersons in the city attended a consultative meeting held Friday, January 31 at the Tacloban City Training Center.
The meeting, spearheaded by PSA Leyte, intends to define the boundaries in each barangays with respect to the Barangay Boundary Monuments (BBMs) for use during this year’s CPH operation.
Census Enumeration will be conducted on May 4, 2020, said PSA.
The result of the 2020 survey aims to provide population and housing data to government executives, policymakers, and planners to be used as basis for social and economic development plans and programs.
Present during the meeting was Executive Assistant Atty. Christian De Dios, who represented Mayor Alfred S.Romualdez, along with personnel from the City Planning and Development Office.
