LOOK: The local government of Tacloban along with other 275 stakeholders and educators was recognized during the Department of Education (DepEd) City Division’s PASIDUNGOG celebration held on Friday, January 24.

On behalf of Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez, Acting City Administrator Atty. Ann Carba received the plaque of recognition from Schools Division Superintendent Mariza S. Magan and Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Roberto N. Mangaliman.

Meantime, the City Health Office, City Housing and Community Development Office, Traffic Operation, Management, Enforcement, and Control Office, Tacloban City Rescue Unit, and City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office were also given recognition during the gathering.

The Division Pasidungog Award, pursuant to DepEd Order No.9 s. 2002 entitled Establishing the Program on Awards and Incentives for Sevice Excellence, aims to recognize not only the outstanding accomplishments of educators but also the efforts of the external stakeholders who have shown support to the different programs and projects of DepEd.
