Tacloban goes online with Tax payment system
TACLOBAN CITY (CIO) – To provide taxpayers with an enhanced tax payment system, the City Government of Tacloban through the leadership of Mayor Cristina G. Romualdez has launched last October 26, 2017 the Electronic Payment Portal (EPP) and Online Assessment System.
Considered as the latest innovation of the City Government to provide quality service to Taclobanons, the launching at the Robinsons Expansion Wing Activity Area was led by Mayor Romualdez, together with representatives of the Business Sector represented by Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tacloban-Leyte Vice President for External Affairs Oliver Cam, Land Bank of the Philippines Branch Manager Jecelyn Rodriguez, Barangay Officials and Department Heads of the City Government.
Taxpayers can conveniently pay their Business Permit, Real Property and Transportation taxes online by accessing the EPP link found on the official website of the City Government, www.Tacloban.gov.ph or download the APP from Google Play or Apple Store.
Mayor Romualdez disclosed that the online system will include more payment services next year to widen its coverage and accessibility.
