FEBRUARY 16, 2017 – Mayor Cristina G. Romualdez met with Dorcas Secreto of the National Housing Authority, Tacloban City Police Office Chief Supt. Rolando Bade, City Engineer Dionesio de Paz, Leonard Tedence Jopson of the City Housing Office and representatives from the Department of Education to discuss the relocation of the remaining families to be relocated in the New Settlement Area in Tacloban North.

Three thousand families have yet to be relocated. Plans to transfer all displaced families are scheduled for the end of March 2017.
