City Coop distributes loan assistance, kitchen equipment on HUC Day
TACLOBAN CITY (CIO)– As part of the City Government’sinitiative to help develop micro-entrepreneurs, Mayor Cristina Romualdez led the turn-over of some 1.2 Million pesos worth of Kitchen Equipment to TEAM Coop and distributed loan assistance to micro-entrepreneurs on HUC Day, December 18, 2017.
TEAM Coop– a local cooperative being supported by the City Government received the equipment on Monday for its food production business which started 2016, after it was organized by the City Cooperative Development and Livelihood Assistance Office (CCDLAO).
The Cooperative which is a consistent recipient of the Technical and materials assistance of the CCDLAO also joins local fairs to market its products.
Meantime, the City Cooperatives Development and Livelihood Assistance Office (CCDLAO) has released micro-loans to 4 beneficiaries of its F4 Fund Loan Program on the sameday, worth 10,000 pesos each.
The no collateral loan available to small business owners, has a 6% interest per annum-diminishing balance. Since its inception, the F4 Fund Loan Program has released more than 3 Million pesos to micro entrepreneurs. -Henry James G. Roca
